Including a demo video of the installed edition (Mate, Cinnamon, KDE) briefly illustrating the features of Mint desktop and on any new features.
This could be useful in two ways; to know that videos indeed play and also benefit new comers.

Promoting (although worried a bit about bloat, but hey...), and this also gave me another idea: why not bundle the Mint manual as well? Perhaps as an HTML doc rather than a pdf though.

Yes to the video on Youtube but add a link on the desktop.
Might be a good idea, though perhaps better to put it on Youtube so users can view them before downloading an edition. This is not something that only the Linux Mint developers can do--yes the including of the videos, but no, the making of the videos anybody from the community that has experience with such things could pick up?
I am doubtful as to the value... My vote "Don't care"
