It would be quite handy to have mintbackup write a log when it restores software packages so the user will know which packages have to be reinstalled manually.

It could just put the log in /home/[user]. It would be nice if it listed the packages it couldn't find in a separate section, but even an echo of its output just before it does the actual installation would help.
