Updating Betsy's kernels through the Update Manager

I know that in the main Mint edition you can install new kernels through the Update Manager, but LMDE lacks this ability. Why not add this function to Betsy?
This may be due to the age of the Update Manager in LMDE, and have already been implemented in LMDE Betsy. But if not, I thought I'd suggest it.

Good idea and I trust it will be implemented.
Since LMDE is in a stage recommended for experienced users (which probably can install other kernels) it is maybe not the highest priority compared to other more urgent issues ...
