Please, please, please. Set keyboard shortcut (keybinding) ctrl-alt-del to gnome-system-monitor by default. Gnome-system-monitor is an essential tool. It's what most people migrating from windows would expect. It's convenient, it's easy to implement, It's the right thing to do. Ctrl-alt-del is currently assigned to "logging out of session". Nobody "logs out", people shut down or suspend their system. Nobody "switches users", most systems dont even have a second user.
This has been plaguing me after every installation for more than 10 years, it's always one of the first keybindings to change. I can't be the only one who wants that
Yes, I agree the keybinding default should change.
