Install Nvidia driver

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nvidia-current nvidia-settings

Next step remove nouveau

apt remove --purge xserver-xorg-video-nouveau libdrm-nouveau1

You can now play Sauerbraten
I use ASUSTeK Computer INC
M2N-MX SE Plus
Central Processor AMD Sempron(tm) Processor LE-1600 Max Speed: 2200 MHz

The tutorial should mention that it people with a nvidia gpu with the optimus technology must not follow this method but rather look for Bumblebee !

While it may be of some use to very specific setups, please do NOT EVER install from an unverified PPA.
It is at best a risk. In worst of cases you are opening your system up to all kinds of attacks. Root level access to software from an unverified source is essentially the same as running a Windows box without antivirus

Use of the xorg-edgers PPA is likely to break your system and not recommended for those who don't know how to fix it. There are also other better tutorials for this subject already..
