রিং (ring) is an Honours Graduate in English Literature as well as have a Professional Diploma in IT from NIIT in Software Engineering. Now he is working in Jalal Ahmed Spinning Mills Ltd. as a Specialist Consultant of IT and MIS. He is an enthusiasts of Linux and Bengali Computing. In 2009 he has introduced totally Ubuntu Server and Linux Mint Desktop based solution in MIS Department of whole Jalal Ahmed Group.

To spread out Linux, Open Source and Bengali Computing to the root level computing people of Bangladesh, he personally sponsors to organize parties, get together, seminars and various types of technical and non-technical sessions on Ubuntu and Linux Mint through a voluntary organization named Foundation for Open Source Solutions Bangladesh (in short FOSS Bangladesh).
