Hello, I am Silvan, 30 years old, married and father of two kids.(Danique and Luca) I am employed as biomedical engineer in a hospital in the north of the netherlands.

My working carreer started out as salesman in an electronicsstore and because the owner also developed custom electronics, I learned a lot about making PCB's, programming, component knowledge and so on. I worked here for nearly 9 years. After relocation to a smaller store, I felt I had no future there, so I left. In need of a job, I became electrician, working in new build houses and later in the hospital I now work for. After doing this for five years, I made a step to an IT company as an senior engineer and although I very much liked the company, I felt that the job wasn't integrating very well with my family life. When the opportunity came to apply for a job in the hospital I went for it.

Besides my current job I am also a freelance IT specialist, wich makes my life busy, but keeps it interesting as well.
