My observation is that the installer window is excessively large and window doesn't adapt well to smaller displays (e.g. using virtualbox window atop a 1280x800 laptop), , also no suggestion that you may need to hold down Alt and move the window to workaround the problem, for that matter... In my view poor installer design.
