- notification bell is symbolic for me.
- seahorse, gnome-disks need language-pack-gnome-xx for the desktop file translation. Testing in French, this is installed post-install, works fine ootb. We support about 10 languages like this, for the other ones, mintlocale does the job and mintreport notifies the user about it.

now the bell *is* symbolic after rebooting. Maybe it was messed up from my testing themes.

#114 Still had the hang on the final reboot as in LM Cinnamon. The first line complains about a missing conf file for file checking. Here is the last line in the syslog file before giving up and powering off. System recovers just fine.
