a) lid-close action is 'lock screen', but screen doesn't lock until you raise the lid again.
b) If you change lid-close to suspend, it works, but screen still doesn't lock until *after* wake.

ubuntu-mono, humanity, adwaita cannot be removed. They're Ubuntu/GTK3 dependencies. Xfce decided not to blacklist them so they're still visible.
