Aqemu is a Qt5 graphical interface used to manage QEMU and KVM virtual machines. It has a user-friendly interface and allows one to set up the majority of QEMU and KVM options.

Took a little trial and error to set up right, but it works pretty well on my aging Core i5 laptop under Mint 21.3 Cinnamon. Certainly fits the bill for a Linux novice coming from Win 7 who isn't great with command-line like myself. Seems both quicker and more flexible than Virtualbox, at least for running Win 7 x64. I updated Qemu binaries via terminal after installing from the software manager, not sure how much difference that makes.
