Arista is a simple multimedia transcoder, it focuses on being easy to use by making complex task of encoding for various devices simple.

last release was in 2011, webm works only with stereo. Use Handbreak

This lovely simple program works like a charm converting my video files to be played in my dvd-player with constant good results (smooth playback all the time) where others created unpredictable results (sometimes loss of sound, stuttering and sometimes working without changing any settings)

mint 16 x64 mate: a perfect simple fast transcoder. uses all cpu cores fully. so easy to use. love it.

Mit dem Arista Tool kann man wirklich auf einfachem Weg seine Medien von einem Format in ein anderes konvertieren. Und geil ist auch, dass man zusätzliche Voreinstellungen von der Webseite des Entwicklers (http://www.transcoder.org/presets/) herunterladen kann, weil in der Computer-Welt ändert sich ja ständig alles ;-)

Use it all the time. A must have program. Use it to convert wmv, asf, mov to ogg.
