Camorama is a small utility to view and save images from a webcam or any other Video4Linux device. It can apply a number of image filters and make remote captures.

Works great with the Logitech C920, pretty sure it defaulted to the highest quality the camera supported (1080) and didnt slow down like Cheese does but doesnt record video and has no way to choose the camera resolution

Good for testing camera and taking snapshots. Works fine with 'cameramonitor' on Linux Mint 15

Works well in Mint 15, and does not have nautilus as dependency, as cheese does.

Sorry, it does save pictures when I hit "take picture", it just didn't save them in the specified folder.

didn't work for me, couldn't connect to /dev/vide0 even though it exists and I'm in the video group
