CKEditor is a WYSIWYG editor which can be embedded into web pages. WYSIWYG means that the text being edited looks as similar as possible to the results users have when publishing it.

It brings to the web common editing features found on desktop editing applications like Microsoft Word and OpenOffice.

Hint: If a program can only be started in terminal STATE THAT and include exact directions, code, whatever. Showing an GUI interface suggests it in and runs from MENU.

You are meant to install this in the root directory of your website. It is intended to be used only from your website. If your looking for a desktop web editing application this is not the tool for you. Difficult for the beginner to use. Where does this package put the application files when you use it to "install" ckeditor on your Mint computer? The software description should tell you that, and the method for calling/opening the application should be explained. (because it can not be accessed and used in the usual way)
