Initially it was a great app, I liked the fact that it encrypts notes, is offline, private and minimalist. But, if you want to edit a note while it is encrypted i.e. secured with a password after every new letter is added the note is apparently reencrypted anew - even slow typing is impossible as letters are added in an arbitrary order, not one after another as they are typed. Its not a bug though, it is how the app works - you just need to remove password for the time when the note is edited because constant reencryption takes time. But there is another bug that made me stop using this app: I was editing a note and the progress of the last 3 days just vanished. It happened after I tapped on the bar with the name of the note in the upper left corner of the screen. It was a pretty large note (a few A4 pages) but Idk if any of this can be an excuse for the app to randomly delete content of the notes. Consider this review both as a bug report (if you do check these reviews) but also as a bad review because some of my important information has vanished. The app is raw and not tested enough yet at this point.

I instantly took a liking to this app, as it is very pretty. The amount of white space makes it relaxing to type in without having to hide the UI, and it is soft on the eyes. The creator has a good understanding of depth of layering, creating a wonderful balance between the amount of functionality there is and the user's experience with the UI. I would have been just as happy without them, but the themes are a nice and generous touch. For it's simplicity, one wouldn't expect the features actually included. I think it has autocorrect? It's so smooth I barely notice. But I digress; this is the perfect journal app in my eyes, highly recommend.
