Lot of bugs, mainly server issues. PMID search to populate fields works 50% of time in the best. Watch folder function is so buggy that it is better not to use it. Worst of all, technical support is non-existent. Technical staff does not even read support forum and issues stay unresolved for ages. Be prepared for frequent re-installs and database rebuilds. Knowledge of docx or odt structure may be handy when encountering problems with citation or bibliography insert. Think twice before you use this crap for some bigger project like thesis.

the updated version is now avaible on software manager and so far works fine.

The version included in the Software Manager is old version 1.17. This version is buggy and should not be installed. Download the recent version 1.19 from the Mendeley website and install it.
