Since the last release, in August, Planner has unfortunately stopped working for me. Upon launching, it simply crashes before I can even choose between todoist, caldav or local calendar. When I finally get in, I can't import my backup data from the previous version as it doesn't come in the right format for this one. I have tried to ask for help, but haven't received much feedback so far. This has been quite annoying as I had started to use Planner extensively. I'll try again over the next few months, but right now, I can't use it. I'm running Linux Mint 21.1.
It seems as though the developer should focus a little more on the basic functionality and maybe a little less on style. For example, pressing the '+' button to add a task does absolutely nothing. The UI itself is rather cluttered and unintuitive, in my opinion. Also, the ability to minimize Planner to the system tray with a nice icon would be helpful. I was unable to get Planner to do anything that it advertised, unfortunately. It's a shame.
Seems to be unfinished. Only sends data to Todoist. Doesn't receive data from Todoist. You have to enter tasks multiple times before they 'stick'. Repeating Calendar events don't update at all. Still useful for organizing multiple projects. Beats those stupid sticky notes.
Simple Planner with synchronization with Todoist. Useful tool to do "To do list", write down ideas and organize activities.
