Remote file changes not working & a two-way sync operation carries too much risk. However, there is a real need for a ONE-WAY sync operation from Google Drive to my local Linux drive. This provides us with a backup in the event we are locked out of our Google account or there's an inadvertent clobber of Google Drive files stored in the cloud. So, a message to the developer: please consider a ONE-WAY sync option.

Default folder is within home folder, and you have no access to add a different local drive, nor choose a symlink inside of home folder symlinking to another drive. This is crucial when knowing a home drive might not be able to hold all files on a Google Drive, and you have no settings to configure what to syncronize before starting to sync.

Just completely lost all contents of my local drive, which included new edits on my password database. Nothing that can't be fixed, thank goodness, but I'm certainly not going to continue using such unreliable software. This was not the first issue either. I've had several issues syncing files. I'm better off copy/pasting myself at this point.

It worked but ignored all my google docs by default not allowing me to sync them. Downloading them to edit locally was the whole point so...

This thing deleted over half of my files. I found them in the .trash folder but they're all unorganized and renamed and now I have to rename them and put them all back where they were which is going to take hours. Now that I've looked through issues on GitHub for this I noticed many other people have had the same issue. I do not recommend installing this app at all.

Easy to install and a wizard guides the set up...it's super easy, barely an inconvenience!
