A very good alternative to Strawberry Music Player. This has some stunning theming options with a simple layout (can-be-customized). This is a great modern audio-player for anyone that's tired of using RhythmBox, Strawberry, etc.
I was stuck looking for a good music player replacement when switching from Windows and having to abandon MusicBee. Tauon does everything I want in a music player, and isn't nearly as overwhelming to configure as MusicBee can be. The downside is that Tauon doesn't manage tags, but you can easily use something like Kid3 to do that.
Its one of the best music player i have seen and its very simple and easy and very efficient. it has everything i need ...I love it
Top tier music player for Linux, this has less functionality than strawberry music player, but the way it organizes your library is better than Strawberry (imo). Also the interface could use a makeover since it looks a bit overly simplistic in some areas.
Don't know what to say... wow! Really, found this player accidentally and i not understand why it not on top.
It runs smooth, nice design, simple and powerful. Very fasy imports with the jellyfin server
5★ for using disc structure for organizing. But: dark blue on black is unreadable. UI symbols are really too minimalistic. Sound is DISTORTED on HDMI (not on USB and analog headset) until … i don't know exactly … Tauon is running for some minutes? Or i switched often enough between tracks? I am still experimenting. Then ok until restart of Tauon.
