The most minimal and yet most powerful image viewer there is, in my opinion. I just hope there was a gtk port or alternative so we didn't have to use appimage or flatpak.

Standard image viewer on Mint struggled with literally everything so I looked for some other viewer, found this and it works great! Effortlessly opens images that are 20k x 20k pixels, 20MB in size etc.

A simple, no-frills image application. If you are coming from Windows, it definitely makes sense to start with this one. It takes up a lot of space because it is only available via Flatpack, but at least you will always have the latest version.
