It works, but there was an issue with permissions. When I tried to run some commands in the terminal, I'd get permission issues. This makes it impossible to install extensions that require extra packages. I was trying to use it for Ruby, and installed an extension that required a specific gem as dependency. I would install the gem, but VSCODE couldn't access it due to the permissions issue.

I think this has the same issues as the main Visual Studio Code flathub. I think it's a flathub issue. I was unable to get this to find my current python interpreter. It insists that I'm using python 3.7 even though I've specified python 3.6. The Visual Studio Code installation reviews give more details on the issue. The bottom line for me is that I can't really use it.

I like it very much, I'd rather go for the OSS version than with the other version avaible on this Store, because it's completly compiled from public Sourcecode and no precompiled binary from Microsoft. I like it very much and it's also approved by my Local Unix Group 5/5
