This utility can change the operating frequency of the CPU for each core separately. Additionally, the cpu governor can be changed. The program can detect offline cores and only present the available ones. Furthermore, if a core doesn't support frequency scaling is not shown. There is also an option to apply the same settings to all cores simultaneously. To apply the settings, the user must be local and active, as well as in group sudo. Local and active users not in this group must authenticate themselves as admin in order to apply the settings.

I think this is one of the mandatory programs for the flexibility of setting up a GUI-based power processor: easy, simple, and straightforward -- of course, its proper use requires a little research for a complete and clear understanding; There are other applications, but they are automated and/or less flexible. The last version of this app (1.0.0-1_all.deb OR 1.0.0-1_all_linux_mint.deb, release 2022-23: https://github.com/vagnum08/cpupower-gui/releases/tag/v1.0.0, with dependencies already in Mint 22) has included the creation of flexible User Profiles to suit needs (between power efficiency and performance effectiveness) with its automation settings on reboot. Unfortunately the last version has not been included in the official repo, hopefully it can be updated soon. Hopefully this application in the future can continue to be improved, equipped with important features, tidied up, while remaining lightweight ~ agile ~ smooth ~ effective ~ efficient; In short, it is a pro and reliable tool. Thanks to Dev and Team. ❤️
