Fuse-exfat is a read and write driver implementing the extended file allocation table as a filesystem in userspace. A mounthelper is provided unter the name mount.exfat-fuse.

Excellent! Works in Cinnamon 17.3 32bit. I was able to mount a 64 GB SD card after installing it. Thank you. exFat support >> sudo apt-get install exfat-fuse exfat-utils >> On Mint 18.1 the packages are included.

connected a 64GB usb stick formated xfat 17.1 mate would not reconize, installed exfat-fuse, then remounted stick, now works awesome thx

it works. I replace to new 64gb sd-card in my camera. Then when plug the camera to USB, I got error (not able to mount exfat filesystem). I installed this (still with USB pluged in), remount the disk. It works

mint 17 x64 xfce - works perfectly! couldn't read exfat - installed this - no restart - works immediately! both reads and writes perfectly

Nach installation wurde meine externe Toshiba-Festplatte die ich in exFat formatiert hatte, erkannt.
