This cross-platform sound card modem software is just dandy for any ham radio application you can throw at it. KC3EWK
Useful program to communicate freely by radio, sending and receiving images and text. And remember to do good and communicate, because God is well pleased with these sacrifices. See Hebrews 13:16 KJV.
I have used fldigi, flrig, etc. for many years. Running it on Mint Qiana has been the easiest install ever.
Without a doubt the best amateur radio multimode digital signal software available on ANY platform. Outstanding software, great support from developer, constantly under development and being improved all the time. Try it, you won't regret it!
I installed FLDIGI on Linux Mint 12 (Lisa) easily with the install in the package. I was not able to find a package for FLRIG, which is a companion piece to FLDIGI. Did install FLDIGI at the command line OK, but it does not show as an application like FLDIGI does. The two work well together, and Lisa also already has the FTDI drivers as part of the package. Very easy configuration - works very well.
Does what it says on the box. Installed without problem. Having finally ditched Windows, I'm having to find replacement Amateur Radio software that will run on Linux, not all that easy to do, in some cases, but this one seems to run OK.
