GeoGebra is a dynamic geometry program. You can do constructions with points, vectors, segments, lines, conic sections as well as functions and change them dynamically afterwards. On the other hand, equations and coordinates can be entered directly.

Support for many geometric constructions is provided, as well as support for many calculus-based tools (derivatives, osculating circle, ...).

GeoGebra files can be exported in many different formats, or as interactive applets for web pages.

It's missing the CAS feature to resolve algebra equations automatically, which has been available for years. Downloading the latest from website will contain this basic feature.

Please update to version 6. Geogebra is truly awesome (I would give 5+ stars to Geogebra). It's better to download .deb from the website.

Super Progamm Ein unerlässlicher Helfer vor allem auch weil man die Grafiken nach TeX exportieren kann.

Molto utile in ambito matematico/geometrico, molto leggero e supportabile anche da macchine meno performanti, l'unica pecca resta il problema con l'espansione della finestra.

This program has saved me at least $100 USD because I have been able to use it instead of purchasing a graphing calculator. It is very easy to use, as well as very powerful and can do, in some cases, even more than a regular graphing calculator. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is taking an Algebra 2 or higher math course.

Can create nice schematic pictures, can do LaTeX mathematical symbols inside $$ (in caption field).
