Gitlab provides web based interface to host source code and track issues. It allows anyone for fork a repository and send merge requests. Code review is possible using merge request workflow. Using groups and roles project access can be controlled.

Eats all of your RAM and shits allover your system. Simple tasks like starting/stopping/enabling/disabling the service sometimes result in cryptic errors, and require dealing with this software intestines. Don't install if you don't want to spend more time on mainrtaining it then it saves you mantaining your repos.
