This package provides GTK+ front-ends for su (gksu) and sudo (gksudo), allowing users to give a password and run graphical commands as root without needing to invoke su or sudo in a terminal emulator.

Never seems to work for me. Latest command I tried was mintupdate - did not update packages. Using "sudo mintupdate" on the other hand works.
