This application can search for files in a given directory, matching their names or contents.

It doesn't require any indexation tool, and as such is lightweight but slow.

Cannot understand why this has such high scores. It's as bad as Windows 7's file seach. Every time I've used it, it failed to find files. Had to do it manually. No search in sub-folders? This is a basic option in all file search accessories.

(Mint 13 Cinnamon) You can find this at: Menu --> Accessories --> Search for Files ...

Why is this not installed by default with Cinnamon? Every OS needs a search tool, and this tool is fantastic!

Very useful.
