This tool allows watermarking copies of German identity documents.
You can also redact information your recipient does not need (like the document number or CAN).

Dieses Werkzeug ermöglicht es eine Ausweiskopie eindeutig als Kopie und mit Wasserzeichen zu kennzeichnen.
Für den Adressaten unwichtige Daten (z. B. die CAN oder die Ausweisnummer) können geschwärzt werden.

Currently, this tool supports the following documents:

• Temporary German identity cards (issued on paper)
• Regular German identity cards (all revisions)
• German Passports (issued 2017 or newer)
