Input-remapper allows users to map buttons on all input devices (keyboards, mice, gamepads...) in X11 and Wayland. It also supports combined buttons and programmable macros.

input-remapper includes a UI to configure button mappings, per device, and configuration to automatically apply button mappings at boot and on device connection.

This is a GODSEND! It works on all of my keyboards, mice, even my damn speaker knobs are remappable through this tool. Amazing.

Successfully reassigned keyboard keys and additional mouse buttons. Would like to be able to enable 2+ presets at once, but only 1 preset may be enabled at a time per device.

Amazing! Piper is neat, but assigning macros was not working well enough. This is exactly what I needed, simple but super flexible and reliable so far.

This is very helpful to remap my mechanical keyboard 84 keys. Because some buttons do not match their function. Thank you!
