Ok, enpass is a great password manager but the distribution usinng flatpack does not work as to date (June 2024). I does not allow you to sync an exisitng vault from dropbox. If you install from enpass instead using instructions here https://www.enpass.io/support/kb/general/how-to-install-enpass-on-linux/ all is good. So enpass great (5 stars), flatpack Avoid (1 star).

Enpass is excellent because it does not store the data in a public cloud like other password managers (LastPass, 1Password), instead you have the option to store it on your own cloud (or local folder) like Google, OneDrive, and more. This makes it a pretty good benefit, it means that if their system is compromised, the attackers will not have a copy of my vault.
