It is very useful if you are a content manager and share videos on the lbry platform. It allows you to better control your content. But if you're just a viewer and don't make videos, you may find it more convenient to use the odysee web interface. This way you avoid having a service wasting resources.

Score 1 ist sehr großzügig, daher sollte es entfernt werden. It should be an alternative to Youtube and Co., unfortunately it has degenerated into a platform for right-wing conspiracy theories and esotericism. Score 1 is very generous so it should be removed.

Fantastic platform. It works great, it is independent and decentralized, because it is based on blockchain. The interface is clean and easy to use. I watch Bryan Lunduke's and Gardiner Bryant's videos only on LBRY. It is true that you have to pay the LBC, their own crypto-currency, to publish your videos, but don't worry about it - from the very beginning you get the LBC every step of the way - for watching movies, subscribing to channels, updating your app. And later your viewers start sending you LBC-tips. The LBC is no problem at all.

This thing actually requires you to pay with LBC in order to upload your own content. This is pretty much a suicide for this service.
