Monitor system resource usage

Monitor your CPU, Memory, Disk, Network and GPU usage, accompanied by a per app and process breakdown of these statistics

Features:

  • Monitor overall or per-thread CPU usage
  • See system process, thread, and handle count, uptime, clock speed (base and current), cache sizes
  • Monitor RAM and Swap usage
  • See a breakdown how the memory is being used by the system
  • Monitor Disk utilization and transfer rates
  • Monitor network utilization and transfer speeds
  • See network interface information such as network card name, connection type (Wi-Fi or Ethernet),
wireless speeds and frequency, hardware address, IP address
  • Monitor overall GPU usage, video encoder and decoder usage, memory usage and power consumption, powered
    by the popular NVTOP project
  • Monitor system fans
  • See a breakdown of resource usage by app and process
  • Supports a minified summary view for simple monitoring
  • Use hardware accelerated rendering for all the graphs in an effort to reduce CPU and overall resource
    usage
  • Uses GTK4 and Libadwaita
  • Written in Rust

Limitations (there is ongoing work to overcome all of these):

  • Intel GPU monitoring is only supported for Broadwell and later GPUs; and does not support VRAM, power,
    or temperature monitoring
  • When using Linux Mint/Cinnamon, launched applications may not show up in the "Applications" section
    (Upstream issue: https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon/issues/12015)

Comments, suggestions, bug reports and contributions welcome

The app's design is amazing. But BEWARE! It may report false ram amounts. it reported 2 times more then the actual app usage (compared to htop and btop, they were accurate)

It's awesome, I hope someday we could have also power consumption per app/process

As a Windows user that has just recently moved to linux this software is great to monitor resources on your pc and very similar to the windows task manager.

As a Linux user coming from windows this application has a very comfortable and familiar UI. I started with using Btop as my system monitor (which i still use occasionally) but i wanted something more familiar to the windows task manager, and well, this is it.

...coming from windows, i find this really useful and commendable. it saves me from going to the terminal every time to check uptime

Nice app, especially if transitioning from Windows, due to familiar layout. Has GPU monitoring out of the box. Though needs some optimization, as it eats around 30-40% CPU on idle on Celeron 3350 (and around 5% on more modern processors) all by itself.

I have to update my last review!! There were new updates for the Flatpak runtime and after I completed those updates and rebooted, I installed Mission Center again and it is not eating up all the RAM anymore... ?? I'm glad I can use it again because I use this in conjunction with TLP to control my laptop and keep an eye on clock speeds etc.

This application works great. However, for intel igpus past broadwell (5th gen), it will not display any information, and will sit at 0%. This is because this application relies on a newer kernel than what is standard at linux mint. If you are on kernel 5-15, you will need to update to a kernel that is at minimum kernel 5-19. However, besides that, the application works great!
