The KiCad projects within this package are various typical small use cases which can be used for study or also for build own projects on top of these existing projects.

The projects included are on one side easy and simple projects with classical through hole mounted components with one or two layers but also rather more complex projects based on surface mounted devices (SMD) with multiple layers.

I was sidetracked by KiCad from working on a PICKit3 workaround. Found a pic_programmer schematic in the Demo. From File>'Open Demo Project...' then a file manager window opened and I picked the Schematic. Easy. This is not in the Mint File Launcher menu, Demo schematics are selected within KiCad and the option will appear when Demo is installed

I tried installing the kicad-demos, but nothing showed up in the launcher. Looks like the package needs some work before being released to the users.
