Open Source point of sale for Linux
  2 reviews

This package is a configurable general point of sale, not focused to a specific sector. It can be used at a general store, a fast-food restaurant or a book store.

The software may actually be very good. I can't say. This package evidently requires a seperate mySQL database server, is missing needed documentation and does not seem to include the required database structure to complete an install and setup.

Can't get this application started on Linux Mint 17.1 Cinnamon. Looks like I haven't got all the packages to get the database connection to work. It's originally developed for KDE.
