Tcpcrypt offers opportunistic security for tcp network traffic. all traffic between two tcpcrypt-enabled peers will be encrypted to protect against passive monitoring. tcpcrypt also exposes a strong session identifier to tcpcrypt-aware clients, which can be used as a hook for authentication.
