It's working perfectly fine, but there is one issue only I noticed, in the all application section, if you scroll down or up without releasing the mouse1, a small part of text will not slide alongside the scroll. https://shorturl.at/dDG58
what is the name of the desklet on the right side of the desktop in the picture
This may not apply. I am on Cinnamon and it has multiple menus installed. I cannot seem to find the correct one. Cinnamon should pick ONE menu to be installed by default. There is no way to add/remove entries. Some things are missing, some things are duplicated. One is entered three times, twice in unrelated categories.
Nice view. Resembles windows start menu. How can I get the background as shown in the mintmenu picture above?
Little problem after installing: mintmenu /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gi/overrides/Gtk.py:50: RuntimeWarning: You have imported the Gtk 2.0 module. Because Gtk 2.0 was not designed for use with introspection some of the interfaces and API will fail. As such this is not supported by the pygobject development team and we encourage you to port your app to Gtk 3 or greater. PyGTK is the recomended python module to use with Gtk 2.0 warnings.warn(warn_msg, RuntimeWarning)
Doesn't work in Mint 17.2 Cinnamon. Installation went fine, but for the life of me I cannot find a way to activate it or use it. The stock mint 17.2 menu still is in place. Rebooting doesn't help.
Works ok except it doesn't select the first search result like every other modern menu does. I shouldn't have to reach for the mouse! Super, then F, then ENTER, should take me to firefox (or whatever comes first in the F search)
doesn't open from the first time I want something like debian menu fast...also sometimes it fails to reload !
It works but I don't like the look and feel of it. I prefer using Xfce with the standard menu or whiskermenu
