Had a pdf that had 2 pages on 1 pdf page. Was constantly having to zoom to read it. Using: mutool poster -y 2 input.pdf output.pdf split it right in 2 into 2 separate pages. Awesome. Note that the pages may be out of your preferred order though. Use PDF-Shuffler or PDFsam Basic to reorder them.
