This package can be used to generate a lircrc configuration file for a remote control that is used by the LIRC project. In order for this application to work, your existing remote control must have its configuration defined in:

/etc/lirc/lircd.conf

This package is intended for usage on Mythbuntu systems, but can also be useful for initially setting up an ordinary Ubuntu system's remote control.

Currently, it supports:
* MythTV
* Xine
* MPlayer
* VLC
* Totem
* Elisa
* Any Custom Lircrc
