It manages ethernet, Wi-Fi, mobile broadband (WWAN), and PPPoE devices, and provides VPN integration with a variety of different VPN services.

This package provides a VPN plugin for L2TP with optional IPsec support.

This allows me to connect to a L2TP VPN so I can work remotely. It integrates seamlessly with the network manager for an intuitive experience. However, I also had to install "network-manager-l2tp-gnome" in order for it to work properly.
