This package contains a calendar for the Xfce4 desktop environment. It integrates itself nicely into the desktop environment, is highly configurable and supports alerts based on dates. If you are looking for a good graphical calendar, you will probably want to try out orage. It stores its data in iCal format.

I prefer to use “Orage” as my organizer on my desktop (xfce) with “Linux Mint 22.1,” simply because the features are basic and what I like most is that it's simple and works very well. I imported my two calendars using ICS, so I merged them into a single calendar in Orage, and everything works well. It's incredibly simple. The only thing I do is take a screenshot of the day (easy, everything is listed vertically), and with image editing software, I cross off the event when it's done. And everything works on “orage.”
