Big learning curve BUT alot of videos and reading I figured out about 1% of it... Its an awesome program and runs great even on my OLD PC... Update to reveiw 11/17/23 "I updated to 4.0 flatpak verion and now it will not open :( not sure what to do now"
Installed lasted version 3.3.1 via flathub.org which opens into Software Manager and installed easily. Fantastic software.
In the program manager it only has V 2.93.4 currently, although it is easily possible to install version 3.0 via flathub, using the install command on the flathub homepage: https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.blender.Blender
Just wondering when the flathub version gets updated to latest version?
It works well. Problems with cuda you may see in old comments are solved in this version.
As of June 2020, cuda (GPU) rendering is still broken. See 2018 bug: https://github.com/flathub/org.blender.Blender/issues/8
