Secure messaging, anywhere

Briar is a messaging app designed for activists, journalists, and anyone else who needs a safe, easy and robust way to communicate. Unlike traditional messaging apps, Briar doesn't rely on a central server - messages are synchronized directly between the users' devices. If the internet's down, Briar can sync via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, keeping the information flowing in a crisis. If the internet's up, Briar can sync via the Tor network, protecting users and their relationships from surveillance.

Briar's website: https://briarproject.org. The link shown on the post (https://dl.flathub.org/repo/ is not working, error 403, that is why I submitted the website's URL and it's screenshot. --I just installed Briar for first time. The process is super simple. It only asks for username and password. Then you click a button to copy your link to share with another Briar user. The other user will share their link with you. Yes, that super simple. --Based on what I read and a friend that uses it, it is well recommended. I am a die hard Signal user, but we will see what's up with Briar. (giving 5 stars because i don't have anything negative to say about the app yet. And the install process and simplicity, I like. )
