Subsurface is an open source dive logbook for scuba, rebreather, and free divers.
Track your dives by logging locations (with GPS coordinates), gear,
exposure protection used, divemasters and dive buddies, plus your own notes and ratings for each dive.
Subsurface also allows you to plan your dives, by providing a comprehensive dive planner that includes
support for multiple gases, deco planning, and more.
Dives can be downloaded from a variety of dive computers, entered manually, or imported from other
dive log applications.

Cross-platrom app packed with features and undergoing constant development. I originally used Suunto dive computers and as such used the Suunto software for logging my dives, when Suunto 'upgraded' their software it seemed to lose lots of the features i wanted so i started looking for alternatives and found Subsurface, i was so glad i did as when i eventually moved on from Suunto to a different brand of computer i could still use the same dive logging software. I have even made feature suggestions to the development team and these features although small were implemented into future releases of the software. Basically i'm very happy with this software as it is now but feel confident that the development team will make it even better in future releases.
