Pdf2djvu creates DjVu files from PDF files. It's able to extract: - graphics, - text layer, - hyperlinks, - document outline (bookmarks), - metadata (including XMP metadata).

Converts beautifully from .pdf to .djvu and cuts file-size in half. A nice side-effect is that the text is put back in logical order which makes this a good intermediate step in converting .pdf to ebook format.
