Mpoly is a simple collection of tools to help deal with multivariate polynomials symbolically and functionally in R. Features include term ordering, creating vectors of polynomials, extracting pieces of polynomials, arithmetic, derivatives, evaluation, homogenization and dehomogenization, and many special polynomials.
