with subsurface the user can track dive locations including gps coordinates (which can also conveniently be entered using a map interface). subsurface calculates a wide variety of statistics of the user's diving and calculates and tracks information like the user's sac rate, partial pressures of o2, n2 and he, calculated deco information, and many more.

Cross-platform app packed with features and undergoing constant development. I originally used Suunto dive computers and as such used the Suunto software for logging my dives, when Suunto 'upgraded' their software it seemed to lose lots of the features i wanted so i started looking for alternatives and found Subsurface, i was so glad i did as when i eventually moved on from Suunto to a different brand of computer i could still use the same dive logging software. I have even made feature suggestions to the development team and these features although small were implemented into future releases of the software. Basically i'm very happy with this software as it is now but feel confident that the development team will make it even better in future releases.
