Amazing software, but just keep in mind that you will have to execute following command after installation in order to work sudo usermod -aG libvirt $(whoami) and sudo usermod -aG kvm $(whoami). Hope that helps someone.
The only Virtualization alternative to VirtualBox, complicated at first but you may get used to it. It doesn't have any issues whatsoever and its actuallly a Great alternative to VirtualBox, put some Qcow2 and ISO images in there and boom, works perfectly fine without any issues, but requires troubleshooting on your own if you know the basics of Virtualization. Documentation is available at their official site for the front end of KVM and QEMU. If you want a better alternative to VirtualBox, then Virtual Machine Manager is top recommended.
I don't know what happened since the last time I installed virt-manager, but it completely broke my desktop. Ended up having to reinstall Mint to get my desktop back. Stay away! This will completely jack your machine!
Chega a ser melhor do que o Virtualbox ou o VMware, pois utiliza recursos nativos do Kernel Linux através do Qemu/KVM otimizando a virtualização
Awesome tool. KVM + this made me ditch virtualbox. If you are on lmde and cannot create a vm, edit /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf and change the group from "root" to "kvm"
It's actually pretty easy to set up out of the box. But it would be nice to have a 3D video driver.
The tool is awesome. Feels a little like vmware player. I had to install libvirt-bin to make it work with qemu.
Broken out of the box. Learned how to use qemu from CLI. Stupid easy in hindsight.
