Desktop application for managing virtual machines
  14 reviews

It presents a summary view of running domains and their live performance & resource utilization statistics. A detailed view presents graphs showing performance & utilization over time. Ultimately it will allow creation of new domains, and configuration & adjustment of a domain's resource allocation & virtual hardware. Finally an embedded VNC client viewer presents a full graphical console to the guest domain.

NOTE: the GUI is still considered experimental.

I don't know what happened since the last time I installed virt-manager, but it completely broke my desktop. Ended up having to reinstall Mint to get my desktop back. Stay away! This will completely jack your machine!

Chega a ser melhor do que o Virtualbox ou o VMware, pois utiliza recursos nativos do Kernel Linux através do Qemu/KVM otimizando a virtualização

Awesome tool. KVM + this made me ditch virtualbox. If you are on lmde and cannot create a vm, edit /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf and change the group from "root" to "kvm"

It's actually pretty easy to set up out of the box. But it would be nice to have a 3D video driver.

The tool is awesome. Feels a little like vmware player. I had to install libvirt-bin to make it work with qemu.

Broken out of the box. Learned how to use qemu from CLI. Stupid easy in hindsight.
