This Tcl script shows the result of running a regular expression, making debugging relatively easy. It also assists in the construction of regular expressions.

I have mixed feelings about this software. It's good in theory but it's interface is not friendly enough. You can't even paste in it. I have no idea why but that doesn't help me. Otherwise it's OK.
