Whipper is an audio CD (CD-DA) ripper. It priorizes accuracy over speed, can verify rips against the AccurateRip database, can perform various tests and loads metadata for the output files.

Whipper is originally based on the morituri project.

If you still have use for a CD ripper and you want one that makes archival-quality AccurateRip checked rips complete with detailed logs, playlists, cue sheets, then this is the one you want. Spend a little time on the author's GitHub page to understand and perform configuration, then enjoy nearly effortless and flawless (if a little slow) audio CD ripping.
